Our philosophy is simply learning through teaching. When you teach, you gain the insight and unspoken lessons of education. A good teacher understands how to learn. We take time out every Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 1:00 to explore this craft. Inside of these workshops we strengthen our cutting techniques and share new ideas in color and texture. It is this continual education that keeps our minds open to new ideas in interpreting our clients' needs.

We make our ideas work using a practiced methodology borrowed and built upon from our partners at Toni & Guy, who have been a successful, educationally-based company for more than 30 years.

Currently, three members of our staff are on the Travelling Art Team for Toni & Guy/Tigi and can be seen teaching classes in salons and seminars around the Bay Area and the West Coast. But our real success lies in building a good relationship with our clients - talking with them to find out what kind of look they would like, how long they spend on their hair, and what other personal needs they may see as important. The art of consultation is considered to be a vital skill, and is a crucial part of a stylist's education.
